Hello Everyone,
This week from Monday To Wednesday Room 24, 25 and 17 went to camp, (I only went on Tuesday) we played a lot of team sports. But, my favourite game was kayaking because I have always wanted to learn how to kayak and it seems really fun. It was a great experience. We first learnt how to use the paddles and then we hopped into the water. (Me and Lusia were buddies in the kayak) It was very tricky pushing the kayak into the water because it was very heavy, so we had a parent to help. Once we got in the water with the kayak, we just paddled around getting in sync then we had to hop out and the instructor called each group to teach them a little bit more. After that, we played a game, the instructor threw out some tennis balls and we had to paddle to them and pick them up, (you were only aloud one tennis ball at a time) you had to try and get it into the instructor’s kayak. At the end we all did a race and me and Lusia came 2nd.
