Hello Everyone,
I think Ivan is nervous about meeting the other gorillas because he hasn’t been around gorillas since he was a baby. Which for him would have been about 27-28 years. As well as he probably forgot how to act around gorillas and he doesn’t act like a gorilla himself.
I also think the other gorillas think that Ivan is a bit strange, since he eats food that humans eat, paints pictures, and even watches the TV! Oh! And he also acts like a human because as I said before, he hasn’t been around gorillas for so long.
